How can I volunteer for Governor Ned Lamont?

 

You can volunteer for Governor Ned Lamont through an internship. The Office of Governor Ned Lamont offers internships to graduate and undergraduate students. First and second-year law students can also take advantage of law internships. Students who take advantage of the program can gain real-world exposure to how government works. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:  

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be in an undergraduate or graduate program or a recent college graduate
  • Be able to work at least 10 hours per week
  • Applicants for law internships must be first or second-year law students

In order to apply, download the internship application. Fill it out, save it, and then submit it along with your resume, cover letter, and a letter of recommendation from a professor or academic advisor either by email or postal mail to: Kathryn.Damato@ct.gov
