Malloy will attend a meeting of the Council of Governors, a congressionally-authorized body that includes 10 state governors to address matters of national security, homeland defense, synchronization and integration of state and federal military activities in the United States and matters of mutual interest pertaining to the National Guard.

Wednesday: Gov. Malloy Announces Expansion of Program to Help Elderly Renters Stay in Their Homes
On Wednesday at noon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference in New Haven to announce details of the expansion of the state’s Elderly Renters’ Rebate Program, which provides a direct reimbursement to lower-income elderly or 100 percent disabled renters to help offset a portion of their rent and utility expenses.
