Gov. Malloy's Common Core Taskforce to Meet on Wednesday in Cromwell
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Educators’ Common Core Implementation Taskforce is scheduled to hold its second meeting on Wednesday, April 9, at Cromwell High School, located at 1 Donald Harris Drive in Cromwell. The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be held in library.

Gov. Malloy: Crime Victims Deserve to Have Their Rights Enforced

Malloy today announced that he is creating the Victims’ Rights Enforcement Advisory Commission – an expert panel of criminal justice and victim service professionals who will review policies, services, and victims’ rights in the state, and make specific recommendations in the areas of compliance with and enforcement of the constitutional and statutory rights of crime victims.

Gov. Malloy: Lesson From Super Storm Sandy Connecticut’s Transportation Infrastructure Needs ‘Hardening’
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the State of Connecticut is applying for $600 million in federal transportation funding to help cover the capital costs of three resiliency, or “hardening”, projects central to the commuter rail infrastructure of Connecticut. The federal funds will be matched with $200 million in state funds for various upgrade and replacement projects along the New Haven Line.
