Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps eligible individuals and families afford the cost of food at supermarkets, grocery stores and farmers’ markets.
Support to help family caregivers find services for their loved ones. Provides an array of services like information, referrals to support groups and short-term respite in the home to help relieve caregiver stress.

The State Department on Aging coordinates the "Live Well", Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) and holds workshops at various locations throughout the state. Live Well is targeted to older adults with chronic health conditions and helps them learn practical ways to deal with issues such as pain and fatigue, nutrition, exercise and talking with your doctor.
