Community Reinvestment

Reinvestment Plan

The Social Equity Council (SEC) is working on a community reinvestment plan. In order to develop this plan, the SEC will use a multiphase approach. The goal of the community reinvestment plan is to establish a framework for reinvesting state cannabis revenues back into communities negatively impacted by the War on Drugs. The SEC will work directly with disproportionately impacted communities and stakeholders to confirm a reinvestment strategy that aligns with community needs and state requirements.

To support this reinvestment the SEC will use information gathered from this survey and a series of community conversations to develop a reinvestment plan that will bring much needed resources back into communities negatively impacted by the War on Drugs.
