Employment Opportunities

To find job openings in all State agencies, please visit the State of Connecticut Executive Branch Online Employment Center.  You'll find information on how to apply, learn about job classes, and more. There is no longer a separate application for exams and current job openings. We will review your application to see if you meet the job's minimum qualifications.

We will sometimes showcase different career paths within the agency. Please note, this does not mean there are job openings now. Visit the new State of Connecticut Executive Branch Online Employment Center to see what jobs are open in the agency.

Volunteer Opportunities

A few areas of the agency and its partners need volunteers to:

  • Help people learn about Medicare fraud with the Senior Medicare Patrol
  • Help people with visual impairments
  • Work with the Long Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer Resident Advocate Program

Internship Opportunities

The Department of Aging and Disability Services (ADS) provides internships for graduate and undergraduate students. The agency places students based on their study field. It considers the availability of supervisors in their area of interest.
