Informational Hearing - Public Notice on Health Insurance Rate Filings for 2020
The informational hearing will focus on rate proposals filed by Anthem Health Plans and ConnectiCare Benefits Inc. for individual and small group plans marketed through Access Health CT, the state-sponsored health insurance exchange.
Access Health CT is Connecticut’s official health insurance marketplace. It was established to meet the requirements of the federal Affordable Care Act.
Rate filing information is available on the department website. Public comment can be made electronically for each filing by clicking “Select” to view the filing, the executive summary and to write a comment.
If attending the informational hearing in person, the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and/or provide comments specific to the rate filings – limited to 3 minutes per person.
Written comments may be filed with the Insurance Department no later than the close of business on September 11, 2019 by mailing or delivering them to the Connecticut Insurance Department, P.O. Box 816, Hartford, CT 06142.
