What types of complaints can I file?
You can get help or file a complaint with the CT Office of the Healthcare Advocate (OHA) when:
- Your health insurer won't pay for a treatment or service you think should be covered. (Learn more about denials and what you can do.)
- You get a medical bill for something your insurance should have paid for.
- You don’t understand what your health insurance covers or disagree with their decision.
- You have questions or concerns about your enrollment in a health plan.
