Legal support and legislative affairs
The Legislation and Regulation Unit consists of the Legal Division and the Legislative Affairs Division.
The Legal Division provides legal advice and support to the Commissioner of OHS and to all programs and divisions within the agency. They also oversee Certificate of Need (CON) hearings and final decisions.
The Legislative Affairs Division works closely with the Connecticut General Assembly on the agency’s legislative priorities and with sister agencies on coordination efforts.
