12/15/2006	New Incident Management System in Avon and West Hartford. Rizzo Electrical Contractors, Inc. of Danbury, Connecticut will begin installing a weather station and variable message signs on Route 44 (Avon Mountain).
12/12/2006	Nighttime Lane Closure Scheduled On Route 7 In Wilton On December 12, 2006 Wilton, Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that there will be a nighttime lane closure on Route 7 between School Road and Old Danbury Road, on the night of December 12, 2006, from 9:30pm to 6:00am. There will be alternating one-way traffic through the work zone and Wilton police will be on site for traffic control during this time. The closure is necessary for soil boring on the bridge over the Norwalk River and will take place, weather permitting.
9/13/2006	ROUTE 7 WILTON reconstruction and widening Project upcoming work schedule beginning September 25, 2006 Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announces the schedule of work for the reconstruction and widening of U.S. Route 7 from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road in the town of Wilton beginning September 25, 2006.
9/5/2006	ConnDOT is announcing that work is underway on a 30-month project for the repair of the Ferry Street Bridge in New Haven. Effective Tuesday, September 5, 2006, there may be temporary lane closures on surrounding roads to include East Ferry St. and River St. between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday associated with the above project.
6/22/2006	Construction-Rt. 15/Merritt Parkway Stamford, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that construction will begin on interchange improvements to the northbound Exit 34 off ramp on the Merritt Parkway, Route 15 and Long Ridge Road, Route 104 on the week of July 7, 2006.
5/8/2006	Reconstruction of Dodge Avenue in East Haven State Transportation Commissioner Stephen E. Korta has announced today that work will commence Monday, May 8, 2006 on the 12 month project for the reconstruction of Dodge Avenue in East Haven. Effective Monday, Dodge Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from the intersection of Burr Street to Robert Drive, for approximately two weeks with the exception of emergency vehicles. Traffic will be diverted onto Burr Street, Gerrish Avenue and Robert Drive and detour signs will be posted to assist motorists through the area during the closure.
4/19/2006	DETOUR FOR PERRY HILL ROAD PROJECT BEGINS Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Stephen E. Korta II announced that the construction contractor, Guerrera Constuction Co. Inc. of Oxford, CT, for Project Number 126-156, which will rebuild the roadway, will begin work on or about Wednesday, April 26, 2006.
4/4/2006	Realignment-Addison Road-Windsor The Department of Transportation announced today, that beginning April 10, 2006, Palazzo Construction, Inc., of Rocky Hill will begin the work of realignment of Addison Road at Day Hill Road, in the Town of Windsor.
3/23/2006	Route 7 Lane shift All traffic lanes will be shifted to the east side of the existing pavement on Route 7 from just north of the Route 35 intersection to West Starrs Plain Road, until further notice.
3/14/2006	Reconstruction and Intersection Improvements Reconstruction and Intersection Improvements along Route 177 between the intersection of Maxine Road (to the North) in the town of Plainville.
