Connecticut Veteran-owned micro businesses are provided a fifteen percent price preference in the determination of the lowest responsible qualified bidder by the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS).
- Eligibility. A business will be certified as a Veteran owned micro business if all of the following are true:
- At least 51 percent of the business ownership is held by one or more individuals meeting the definition of Veteran in CGS 27-103(A)(1)
- The business had a gross revenue of not more than three million dollars in the most recently completed fiscal year.
- At least 51 percent of the business ownership is held by one or more individuals meeting the definition of Veteran in CGS 27-103(A)(1)
