The Connecticut Department of Transportation today announced upgraded passenger parking plans for various CTfastrak Bus Rapid Transit system stations in New Britain, Newington and West Hartford. Parking capacity along the CTfastrak corridor will be expanded by 142 percent in 2016 – for a total of 429 spaces versus 177 today. |

The Department of Transportation and the State Police are working as quickly as possible to clear the road for safe travel. However, significant delays are expected to continue into the evening rush hour. Current forecasts indicate that the entire state fleet will be in use. If needed, the Department can add 200 private contractors to further compliment state plow crews. |
